Biography

Jason B. Zwang, CFRE, serves as Senior Director of Development for the Georgia Tech College of Computing, where he leads the college’s major gifts, alumni engagement, and corporate partnership strategy. He partners closely with the Dean, faculty, and volunteers to connect philanthropic and industry supporters with the people and ideas advancing the future of computing.   Across nearly two decades in higher education and global nonprofits, Jason’s work has consistently centered on accelerating science, research, and innovation through philanthropy. From supporting affordable housing solutions at Habitat for Humanity International, to advancing medical research and clinical care at Emory University and Hartford HealthCare, to now fueling breakthroughs in computing, his career has focused on helping mission-driven institutions translate bold ideas into funded impact.   Jason is known for building strong cultures of philanthropy—equipping leaders, faculty, and frontline teams to form meaningful, long-term donor relationships. His approach blends the art of engagement with clear systems and strategy, ensuring fundraising success is sustainable and repeatable. He has personally secured tens of millions of dollars in support and helped organizations move from transactional fundraising to transformational partnerships that power discovery, student success, and real-world change.   Jason lives in Atlanta with his wife and twin daughters and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of advancement professionals and strengthening the communities he serves.
